With dancing hammers and pulsating
strings, Philip and Pam Boulding have created the music of
Magical Strings, described by the Washington Post as “…warm,
graceful and sonically gorgeous.” Celtic harps and hammered
dulcimers are augmented by penny whistles, concertina, valiha
(Malagasy bamboo harp), and storytelling, with captivating
arrangements intertwining Celtic roots, classical and world
music influences. |

Fee Range for
School Programs:
School Assembly ~ $550 A 45-minute program
for grades K-8 involving performance, storytelling, demonstrations.
School Assembly with classroom workshops ~
$800 (all day)
Workshop description: Individual classroom sessions - hands-on
with Celtic harps, hammered dulcimers and harp-like instruments
